JUNKEN Artificial Cardiopulmonary Circuit (non-coating circuit)

  • Transparent tubes for connecting an artificial lung and an artificial heart (blood pump). Smooth bore in the joints contributes to smooth blood flow.
  • Customizable tube length and configuration for the demands of individual medical facilities. Computer-aided circuit design and drawings contribute better visualization for the complicated artificial cardiopulmonary circuit.

  • The inner wall of the tubes are coated with our original antithrombogenic material (HEPAFLEX II*) for long lasting antithrombogenicity and high biocompatibility.

Our original technology allows strong holding of heparin onto to the material surface. Heparin and cationic monomer are ionically bonded and polymerized in polyurethane by make heparin molecularly tangled with polyurethane.
